Welcome to Heartless Legion! This is a club for anybody who's ever found him/herself, in the middle of a rousing game of Squaresoft and Disney's Kingdom Hearts, suddenly thinking "Hot damn, those little Heartless monsters sure are cute." Do you ever feel a twinge of guilt after knocking off 15-odd fuzzy little Shadows, even though they were trying to claw out your eyes? Ever had a peek at your "body count" in Jiminy's journal, just out of morbid curiosity, only to cringe and whimper at how high the numbers were? This is the place for you!

PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU JOIN.
My co-owner pointed out to me that a few things in the journal don't seem to display correctly due to her monitor's resolution. I tried to fix everything, but if anything is still out of whack for you, feel free to let me know. My monitor is huge and I have a really weird resolution (1152x864). Sorry for any inconveniences. I suck.
PLEASE READ: Apparently we aren't allowed to add things to the club's favorites anymore. From now on, all submissions will be added to deviation packs rather than favorited.
Joining requests and art subissions in the form of comments placed on the main page will be ignored. Please NOTE THE CLUB to join or to submit art. It isn't that difficult to take not even five minutes and read through this stuff, guys.

There are only two rules for making devIDs:
It has to have something to do with the Heartless, obviously.
I would appreciate it if the width didn't exceed 400 pixels. We've discovered that anything larger causes problems for people with smaller monitors and resolutions. If you've already made a devID that is larger than this, don't worry; it can probably be resized without losing much detail.

Well, you have to love the Heartless. (How dorky does that sound?) Lovers of the game's main villains are also welcome!
It isn't required that you draw Heartless fanart to be a member of this community, but I'd certainly like to see some.
It would please me greatly if you'd include the club's icon somewhere on your deviantART page, whether it be in your sig, journal, or whatever. Some kind of link back would be cool.

If you want the icon to show up on deviantART, the shortcut for it is

To join, please send a devnote to this account. Don't be shy! Include the word " Join" or "Joining" somewhere in the subject line. If you don't see your icon in the body of the club's journal within a week, note the heartlesslegion account again. I try to check notes at least once a week, but I'm only huma--err, .. ahem, I might have accidentally missed your note. Please DON'T just leave a comment on the main page, I might not see it.
If you'd like me to add a piece of your art to one of the club's Deviation Packs, fling a note toward the heartlesslegion account. Include " Devpack Submission" somewhere in the subject line, and please paste the URL of the deviation into the body of the note.
On Submissions: Please don't ask us to look through your gallery and pick out deviations to add to the packs. We get a lot of members (three a day at least, and it hasn't let up) and we simply don't have time to look through every gallery for pack additions. If you have a lot of art, please pick a couple of the ones you like best and submit them in a note. You can submit more at a later date.
Regarding the titles:
If you would like to be a Boss, you must contribute something to the club. Lots of art, icons, ideas, deviant IDs, etc. You can specify which Boss character from the game you'd like to be listed as, provided you want to be listed as a specific Boss. I may also award honorary Boss titles to people who win contests and things, provided I decide to hold any.
Amendment: The number of deviation submissions required to become a Boss is six. (Kind of goes along with the whole "six" theme.. six deviants on each row of icons, devIDs changed out at the sixth of each month.. har har.) Creating a devID automatically earns you a Boss title.
Contributing art (that is, contacting me with the URL of a deviation of yours that you'd like added to the club's Devpacks) will earn you a Soldier title.
If you'd just like to join because you're a Heartless fan, you'll be listed as a Shadow. You can change your classification by sucking up--err, by contributing art and crap. (Just to let you know: the classifications don't really mean anything, it's just for fun. )
When you first join you'll be listed as a Shadow, and as you contribute things your title will change (this just makes it easier for me to keep track of you monkeys), so don't panic if you see your icon in that very bottom slot. Your rank can be changed.



I'll accept *all* art, as long as it relates to the Heartless and/or the villains of Kingdom Hearts in some way, and it's not in violation of the deviantART TOS. It'd just be removed by the admins anyway, so what would be the point?
Art of fancharacters is acceptable. Created a Heartless/evil Kingdom Hearts character that you'd like to show off? Fine with me.
